If you are an artist looking for a fully kitted out glass studio to work in, or have attended a few workshops and feel confident to practise on your own, then hiring our studio is a much more cost effective way to creating your glass projects than attending the classes. To book in please get in contact with the dates you'd like to come along and a little bit of background on your training. Don't worry, we're not looking for degree level qualifications here, we welcome artists of all levels. Knowing your level of training helps us to anticipate what your needs might be, allowing us to provide you with the best experience we can.


Studio Hire Costs

• £6/hr to hire full studio - includes use of any tools and equipment (excluding kiln firings)
• Blocks of 10 hours can be purchased at a reduced rate of £45
• Kiln firings are £20 each (full kiln) and include thin fire paper and electricity charges

 

Kiln Information

Our kiln is a Nabertherm F110 and shaped like a bath tub. It has a large chamber size of 930Wx590Dx230Hmm. The kiln has two half oval shelves that meet flush in the centre overlaid with a hardened single piece of fibre board. We ask that you allow us to help you programme the kiln the first time in order to make sure you set it correctly to your requirements.
